Stacy Busack Biography from Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, August 12, 2017.

Swimming greatness at Fergus Falls High School was exemplified by Stacy Busack attaining Minnesota Girls Class A state titles in the 50 and 100 free in both 2003 and 2004. 

She was the Minnesota Class A record holder in 50 and 100 free and was named Class A Girls High School Swimmer of the Year.

During college she was a swimmer with the University of Minnesota where she was a four-year letter winner with the Gopher women.

Stacy also was Academic All-Big 10 in 2007, 2008 and 2009.

She was honored with the U of M Women's Swimming and Diving Hardest Worker and Most Improved awards.

Other achievements:

U of M School Record Holder Short Course Yards: 50 free, 100 free, 200 Free Relay, 400 Free Relay, 800 Free Relay, 200 Medley Relay, and 400 Medley Relay,

U of M School Record Holder Long Course Meters: 50 free, 100 free, 200 Free Relay, 400 Free Relay, 800 Free Relay, 200 Medley Relay, and 400 Medley Relay

2009 Big 10 Champion and former Big 10 Record Holder: 100 Free

Big 10 Champion as a part of the 400 Medley Relay (2008), 200 Free Relay (2009), and 400 Free Relay (2009) 

2008 Big 10 Team Champions

2008 Olympic Trial Participant in the 50 and 100 free

NCAA Qualifier: 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009

Academic All-American

All-American recognition

2015 Minnesota Aquatics Hall of Fame Inductee

Following graduation, Stacy served as the Volunteer Assistant with the Gopher Swimming and Diving Team while attending graduate school.

She was hired by the University of Pittsburgh, where she was an assistant coach from 2013 to 2016.

Stacy is now an assistant coach at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, part of a NCAA Division I men's and women's swimming and diving program.
