Bulldogs Fourth After First Round of Class A Boys Golf Tourney

The Ottertail Central Bulldogs are fourth after round one of the Class A State Boys Golf Tournament being played at Pebble Creek Golf Course in Becker.  Their score of 336 is eleven strokes behind co-leaders Sleepy Eye United (325) and Mounds Park Academy (325).  North Woods is third at 328.

Sophomore Jackson Nyhus (40-39-79) led OTC and is tied for seventeenth place, individually.  He was followed by Noah Chase (40-43-83) in a tie for 27th place, Drew Young (41-43-84) in a tie for 31st place, and Nick Miller (45-45-90) in a tie for 55th place.  Rounding out the OTC scores were Parker Fraki (48-43-91) in 59th place and Carter Dilly (53-52-105) in a tie for 81st place.

Hillcrest brothers John Vall (37-43-80) and Mike Vall (41-49-90) are tied for 21st place and 55th place, respectively.

In the Class A Girls Tournament, Pelican Rapids sophomore Ellie Johnson (48-41-99) is tied for 41st place and freshman Megan Weber (49-51-100) of OTC is tied for 45th place.
