"Game one was probably the best game we played all year,” said Breckenridge Head Coach Kevin Hiedeman. “We started off with a great play at short by Hiedeman to set the tone. Philips made a great play to his left that resulted in a double play to get us out of an inning. Jack Aigner made two great catches on pop ups behind home plate. We ran the bases extremely well and threw strikes."
In game two, Breckenridge was the visiting team and started off right where they left off in game one scoring 5 runs in the first inning. Kram led off with a single, followed by a single by Porter that scored Kram. Teberg drew a base on balls and Pedersen singled scoring Porter. Johnson walked to load the bases. Teberg scored on a wild pitch before Jeremy Stack singled scoring Pedersen. Johnson ended up scoring on a passed ball.

Hunter Feigum came in to run for Engen. Hiedeman hit a two out single up the middle to score Feigum and the score was 6-4. In the bottom of the 5th, Barnesville scored another run and had the tying run at 3rd base when they grounded out to Hiedeman at short to seal the victory 6-5.

Breckenridge plays another double header against conference rival Pelican on Thursday.
"It will challenge the depth of our pitching again,” noted Coach Hiedeman. “These will be two really big games and we control our destiny to a degree. If we can find a way to pick up two wins in Pelican we have a possibly shot at a second place finish in the Heart of Lakes Conference".
The Cowboys recognized 10 seniors between games - EJ Engen, Dawson Pedersen, Carter Gilles, Dylan Teberg, Tommy Hiedeman, Nathan Phillips, Mitch Porter, Andrew Kram, Sam Hopkins and Wes Johnson.
