As the NDSU volleyball team closes out their regular season with matches at Western Illinois on Friday and at Omaha on Sunday afternoon, senior Brianna Rasmusson, a 2014 Fergus Falls High School graduate, is winding down an amazing college volleyball career.

Rasmusson, who was selected Summit League Offensive Player of the Week last week, has become the seventh Bison setter to reach 3,000 assists and 1,000 digs in a career. She is ninth in assists and assists per set, 19th in digs and 20th in digs per set in Bison history. She is also 52nd all-time in sets played.

Rasmusson has also been selected to all-tournament teams at the Arizona State Sun Devil Classic (August 26), the Florida Atlantic University Invitational (Sept. 15-16) and the NDSU Classic (Sept. 1-2), where she was named MVP after averaging 10.20 assists and 3 digs per set. She hit .323, adding eight blocks and five service aces during the NDSU Classic.

Brianna has recorded 13 double-doubles this season and 48 in her career, including a 39 assist and 24 dig effort in a 3-2 win over Fort Wayne on November 3.

The Bison are 16-8 overall, 7-5 in Summit League play. They finished their home season with a 10-2 record at the Bentson Bunker Fieldhouse.

The Summit League Tournament is scheduled for Friday, November 17 through Sunday, November 19 in Denver, Colorado.
