The Barnesville wrestling team is the Pizza Ranch Restaurant Team of the Week.

 

The Trojans won three dual meets in the Section 6A Tournament to claim the Section title and advance to the Class A State Meet.

 

Barnesville opened the tournament at home on Tuesday night with a 55-18 win over the Ottertail Central Bulldogs in the quarterfinals.  On Saturday at West Central Area High School in Barrett, the Trojans beat Breckenridge/Campbell-Tintah 38-25 in the semi's and then knocked off Border West 39-27 in the championship match.
